Surf Riders

"Surf Riders"
8" x 10" oil on gessoed masonite

It was raining for the third day in a row when I painted this. It helped my mood to create a little artificial sunshine! This is another offering for Karin Jurick's challenge on her blog 'Different Strokes from Different Folks'. I'm glad to be jumping back into the fun!

This is a wonderful rendition of Karin's challenge, lots of great light. Also have to comment on "Tethered" (March 21) - love the whole concept. Can't wait to see more of the workers and job site.
Thanks for visiting my blog and website - it was lovely to hear from you my first day back, and I do appreciate the feedback.
