Beach Babes

"Beach Babes"
8" x 16" acrylic on gessoed masonite

... or maybe I should have titled it "Pamela's" because it depicts my sister, Pam, with her namesake grandchild, Pamela, playing in the surf on Tybee Island, Georgia. Pam inherited the gorgeous shock of prematurely white hair from our mother.  Me, I just got the old standard salt & pepper. This painting is a little thank you gift to Pam for all the encouragement and support she gives me.  Thanks, Sis!

Wow Pat! I love the unique canvas size and the composition is killer! The waves seem to softly point to these precious people. You're so lucky to have a wonderful sister as she is to have you.

Thanks, Sheila. Yep, Pam is pretty special, even if she is my Sis.

Pat,
An expressive painting. I, too, have that white hair from the Tucker side of the family. As my hair began turning from brunette to white in my 20's I wasn't thrilled....now I'm extremely happy!

We plan to be in Madison May 1st to visit our daughter and family and hope to see you...Betty
